Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Jeffrey Adam Todd, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Todd Wednesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree forgery and methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday and released because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Alex Sanford McPherson, 58, of the 2400 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested McPherson Thursday on felony charges of methamphetamine and heroin possession, and for violating his parole on a previous second-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — James Ray Hall, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Hall Thursday on a felony charge of oxycodone possession and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Raymond Charles Stulce, 35, of the first block of North Main Street, Ashland. On Thursday, Stulce made a court appearance on a felony charge of MDMA possession. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Devin Neil Hopkins, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Hopkins Thursday on a felony charge of heroin possession, and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous second-degree trespassing charge. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Jeffrey Lee Cann, 35, of the 1900 block of Prune Street, Medford. On Thursday, Cann made a court appearance on felony charges of heroin and methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released on his own recognizance. 

Court Appearance — Talisha Lynn Bigelow, 32, of the 1800 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. On Thursday, Bigelow made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released on her own recognizance.

Crime reports

Theft — Medford police took a report of shoplifting at 7:53 p.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of North Riverside Avenue. About 20 clothing items were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,380.

Theft — Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 2:52 a.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Poplar Drive. Items reported stolen included an opal and diamond ring, cash, debit and credit cards and a drivers license. The loss and damage to the vehicle was valued at $2,830.

Theft — Medford police took a report of a bike theft at 7:00 a.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Medford Center. The bicycle was described as a carbon fiber road bike with light and cyclometer. The loss was valued at $5,000.

Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 7:10 a.m. Thursday in the 3100 block of Cedar Links Drive. A driver-side window was reportedly damaged. The loss was valued at $1,200.

Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalism at 9:37 a.m. Thursday in the first block of South Riverside Avenue. Two air conditioner units and two security cameras were reported damaged. The damage was valued at $2,400.
