Felony arrests

Drugs — Brian Antonio Mena, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Mena Thursday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of meth possession, third-degree theft and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released because of overcrowding.

Assault — Earl Ernest Stonebraker, 45, of the first block of Meadow Lane, Trail. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Stonebraker Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct and menacing. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released because of overcrowding.

Elude — Joseph Aaron Cullens, 26, of the 1600 block of Clark Avenue, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Cullens Friday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief, attempting to elude police on foot and reckless driving. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released because of overcrowding.

Court Appearance — Austin Lee Miller, 26, of Weed, Calif. On Friday, Miller made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing a Schedule I controlled substance. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Nicole Christine Wright, 45, of the 600 block of East Archwood Drive, Eagle Point. On Friday, Wright made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Friday and released on her own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Calving Johnson III, 27, of the first block of East Ashland Lane, Ashland. On Friday, Johnson made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance.

Court Appearance — Isaac Phillip Escoto, 22, of the 3400 block of Avenue A, White City. On Friday, Escoto made his initial court appearance on felony charges of distributing and possessing heroin. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance.

Coercion — Joshua Tipton Poff, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Poff Friday on a felony charge of coercion, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Friday on $17,500 bail.

Crime reports

Theft — Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 3:29 p.m. Thursday in the 11000 block of West Ninth Street. A purse, rings and earrings were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,000.

Theft — Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 7:55 a.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Ford Drive. Items reported stolen included a silver bracelet with gold elephants, platinum diamond ring, portable safe with handle and a Monster Bluetooth speaker. The loss was valued at $1,600.
