Felony arrests

Burglary — Jason Michael Comer, 39, no known address. Medford police arrested Comer Friday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of violating a restraining order, fourth-degree assault, first- and second-degree trespassing and third-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $45,000 bail.

Drugs — Kyle Eugene Coleman Ramsey, 25, of the 1000 block of Galls Creek Road, Gold Hill. Eagle Point police arrested Ramsey Saturday on a felony warrant charging heroin possession, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft, misdemeanor warrants of first-degree trespassing and third-degree theft, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of heroin possession, methamphetamine possession and third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Timothy Lee Morris, 37, of the 600 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Morris Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released on his own recognizance.

Elude — Christopher Michael Soares, 32, of the 2600 block of Tennessee Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Soares Saturday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a first-degree forgery conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Weapons —Jason Lawrence Wyncoop, 42, of the 2800 block of Lone Pine Road, Medford. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Wyncoop Saturday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm, misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed firearm and driving under the influence of intoxicants, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Craig Sterling Knight, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Knight Saturday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Money Laundering — Keel William Robinson, 47, of the 5500 block of Humbug Creek Road, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Robinson Saturday on a felony warrants charging money laundering, distributing marijuana and conspiracy to distribute marijuana. He was booked in the jail Saturday and released after posting bail.

Crime reports

Theft — Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 10:39 a.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of Poplar Drive. Items reported stolen included a princess-cut diamond ring set in a gold band, a purse and MAC cosmetics. The loss was valued at $1,217.
