Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Aaron Michael Brown, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Brown Monday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and methamphetamine possession, and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Monday without bail.

Drugs — Elizabeth Ann Hibbard, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Hibbard Monday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and for violating her parole on a previous meth possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Monday without bail.

Drugs — Levi Ryder Buday, 19, no known address. Medford police arrested Buday Monday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on a sanction for violating his probation on an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. He was lodged in jail Monday without bail.

Assault — Robert Obyrne Quinn, 64, of Reno, Nev. Ashland police arrested Quinn Tuesday on two felony counts of first-degree assault and on a fugitive warrant out of Nevada. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Joseph Emanuel Ledbetter, 20, of the 500 block of Bessie Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ledbetter Tuesday on a felony charge of heroin possession and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released because of overcrowding.

Court Appearance — Rudy Lewis Lujano, 25, of the 400 block of Midway Road, Medford. On Tuesday, Lujano made his initial court appearance on felony charges of distributing and possessing cocaine, and on a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released.

Burglary — Daniel Ricardo Provencio, 35, of the 100 block of Lewis Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Provencio Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, misdemeanor charges of menacing and harassment, and on a detainer for violating his probation on a previous coercion charge. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Court Appearance — Craig Sterling Knight, 35, of the 600 block of North Eighth Street, Jacksonville. On Tuesday, Knight made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Joe Randall Thompson, 23, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Thompson Tuesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, meth possession, disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $25,000 bail.

Theft — Joshua William Taylor, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Taylor Tuesday on felony warrants charging first-degree theft and heroin possession, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on second-degree criminal mischief, recklessly endangering, disorderly conduct and violating a no-contact order. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $24,000 bail.

Assault — Jordan Dale Silva, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Silva Tuesday on felony charges of third-degree assault and first-degree criminal mistreatment. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $15,000 bail.

Drugs — Matthew James Pearson, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Pearson Tuesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous meth possession charge, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Identity Theft — Austin Alan Hemphill, 22, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Hemphill Tuesday on two felony warrants charging identity theft, and on misdemeanor warrants charging second- and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $50,000 bail.

Burglary — Travis Gary Tritt, 35, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Tritt Tuesday on felony warrants charging first-degree burglary, identity theft and first-degree theft, a misdemeanor warrant charging third-degree theft, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous identity theft and second-degree theft charges, and for violating his probation on identity theft and first-degree theft convictions. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $75,000 bail.

Drugs — Coleen Cheryl Smith, 27, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Smith Tuesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on out-of-county warrants charging unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree trespassing, second-degree theft and second-degree disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $37,500 bail.

Drugs — Victor Carl Henley, 45, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Henley Tuesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $10,000 bail.
