Felony arrests

Attempted Elude — Brandon Ray Wilson, 27, of the 1900 block of Lampman Road, Gold Hill. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Wilson Tuesday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of attempting to elude police on foot, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of heroin possession, methamphetamine possession, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, identity theft, first-degree theft, providing false information to police and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on $75,000 bail.

Drugs — Tahra Amber Haner, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Haner Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. She was booked in the jail Wednesday and released on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Melinda Lee Lopes, 25, of the 1600 block of Axtell Drive, Grants Pass. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Lopes Wednesday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth possession charge, and on an out-of-county warrant charging probation violation on a meth possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — David Warren Harper, 37, of the 600 block of North Grape Street, Medford. The Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics police service arrested Harper Wednesday on a felony warrant charging methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released because of overcrowding.

Vehicle Theft — Darla LeeAnn Cheek, 25, no known address. Medford police and Talent police arrested Cheek Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and methamphetamine possession. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $12,500 bail.
