Felony arrests

Sex Offender Registration — Michael Vance Milligan, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Milligan Friday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, a misdemeanor charge of violating a no-contact order and on an out-of-county warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail Friday on $22,500 bail.

Felon in Possession of a Firearm — Christopher Michael Soares, 32, of the 2600 block of Tennessee Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Soares Friday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor charge of concealed possession of a firearm and for violating his probation on a previous first-degree forgery conviction. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Driving While Suspended — Shane Michael Brown, 53, of the 3500 block of Avenue H, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Brown Friday on a felony charge of driving while suspended. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Joseph Anthony Bourgeois, 39, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Bourgeois Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on charges of meth possession and second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail Friday and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Bailey Cheyenne Cornett, 19, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Cornett Friday on felony warrants for possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and on warrants charging failure to appear in court on previous charges of distributing and possessing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Friday on $40,000 bail.

Drugs — Levar Christopher Handy, 24, no known address. Medford police arrested Handy Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous meth possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Unlawful Use of a Weapon — Natalie Marie Wells, 32, of the 2600 block of Carr Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Wells Saturday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of reckless endangering, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. She was booked in the jail Saturday and released on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Geoffrey Lee Hungerford, 26, of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Medford police arrested Hungerford Saturday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree rape conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Justin William Davis, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Davis Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court, a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a previous identity theft charge and an out-of-county warrant charging telephonic harassment. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Crime report

Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalism to a home and vehicle at 9:29 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Terrel Drive. The home's front window, garage window and a vehicle were reported damaged. The damage was valued at $1,000.

Theft — Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 7:07 a.m. Saturday in the first block of San Marcos Drive. Items reported stolen included a Samsung tablet computer and HP laptop computer, miscellaneous kids' and women's clothes, a gold bracelet with heart-shaped diamond and a black and gray safe. The loss was valued at $1,000.
