Felony arrests

Drugs, theft — Curtis James Carr, 30, no known address. Medford police on Saturday arrested Carr on charges of heroin possession, reckless driving, resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license, endangerment, third-degree theft and failure to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released due to overcrowding.

Sex abuse — David Elmer Brockmiller, 71, of the 1400 block of Matthews Place, Medford. Medford police on Saturday arrested Brockmiller on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail on $250,000 bail.

Drugs, Theft — Tiffany Leann Chambers, 31, of the 1100 block of Murray Avenue, Medford. Medford police on Saturday arrested Chambers on charges of heroin possession, second-degree theft and failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail without bail.

Drugs, Theft — Brandon Wade Orr, 37, of the 200 block of West Pine Street, Central Point. Medford police on Saturday arrested Orr on charges of heroin possession, methamphetamine possession and third-degree theft. He was released from jail due to overcrowding.

Drugs — Nicolas James Vance, 21, of the 2600 block of Falcon Street, White City. Medford police on Saturday arrested Vance on charges of heroin possession and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.

Drugs — Toykay Johnson, 52, of the 2600 block of Brookside Drive, Medford. Medford police on Saturday arrested Johnson on charges of heroin possession and failure to appear in court. He was released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Isidro Rodriguez-Banuelos, 27, of the 8200 block of Kimberly Court, White City. Medford police on Saturday arrested Rodriguez-Banuelos on a charge of methamphetamine possession. He was released from jail due to overcrowding.

Drugs — Iain Curtis Killingsworth, 34, of the 800 block of Cedar Street, Medford. Medford police on Sunday arrested Killingsworth on charges of methamphetamine possession and failure to appear in court. He was released from jail due to overcrowding.

Drugs — Edward James Thomas Torsney, 26, of the 2000 block of Highway 99, Ashland. Talent police on Sunday arrested Torsney on charges of methamphetamine possession and cocaine possession. He was released from jail due to overcrowding.

Drugs — Thomas Carl Ruth, 48, no listed address. Medford police on Sunday arrested Ruth on charges of methamphetamine possession, second-degree trespassing and failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail on $13,000 bail.

Weapon, Drugs — David Edward Anderson, 46, no listed address. Medford police on Sunday arrested Anderson on charges of methamphetamine possession, felon in possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed firearm and delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school. He was lodged in jail on $42,500 bail.

Crime reports

Vandalism — Medford police responded to a rash of reports about slashed vehicle tires Saturday. At least 27 tires were slashed at locations that included the 1600 block of North Riverside Avenue, the 1100 block of Court Street and the 900 block of West Main Street. The total damages were estimated at $3,470.
