Felony arrests

Theft — Taylor Nicole Petersen, 22, of the 2500 block of Northwest Lassen Way, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Petersen Friday on three felony counts of first-degree theft. She was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Joseph Lou Christopher Sather, 24, of the 8300 block of Division Road, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Sather Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, distributing and possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a previous meth possession conviction. He remained lodged in the jail Saturday without bail.

Robbery — Nicholas John George, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested George Friday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Sex Offender — David Shane Gilbert, 46, of the 600 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Gilbert Friday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, a misdemeanor charge of failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday, and for violating his parole on a previous attempted first-degree unlawful sexual penetration conviction. He remained lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Timothy Andrew Reimer, 32, of the 100 block of Ball Road, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Reimer Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and for violating his probation on a previous marijuana possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Michael John Paul Till, 37, of Harbor. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Till Friday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle, and on a misdemeanor charge of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Criminal Mistreatment — Beverly Leann Hills, 40, of the 1300 block of Northwest Gilbert Way, Grants Pass. On Friday, Hills made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mistreatment and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Edwin Paul Scherr, 36, no known address. Ashland police arrested Scherr Friday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Nichole Marie Schlosser, 27, of the 1100 block of Mayfair Place, Central Point. Phoenix police arrested Schlosser Friday on felony charges of first- and second-degree burglary and first-degree theft, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous misdemeanor charge of improper use of 911. She was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Thomas Allen Dippel, 46, of the 400 block of West Clark Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Dippel Friday on felony charges of first- and second-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft, and for violating his parole on a previous aggravated first-degree theft conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail.

Burglary — Jessica Ann Fenn, 31, of the 23600 block of Highway 62, Trail. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Fenn Friday on felony charges of first- and second-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first-degree theft, and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of violating a restraining order. She was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Daniel Richard Escamilla, 29, of the 1200 block of West Main Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Escamilla Friday on felony charges of first- and second-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of first- and second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, possessing and distributing meth, driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended, interfering with a police officer and reckless endangering. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Jose Carmen Espinoza, 41, of the 1800 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Espinoza Friday on felony charges of first- and second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Zerrick Kerr Brown, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Brown Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest and for violating his probation on a previous hindering prosecution conviction. He remained lodged in the jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Kenneth Justin Brown, 28, of the 2400 block of North Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Brown Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Vehicle Theft — Aaron Dale Eaton, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested Eaton Saturday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree theft conviction. He remained lodged in the jail Saturday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Markayla Antonette Cotton, 22, of the 900 block of Broad Street, Medford. Talent police arrested Cotton Saturday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Vehicle Theft — Michael Vance Milligan, 26, of the 2200 block fo West Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Milligan Saturday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in the jail Saturday on $7,500 bail.

Crime reports

Vandalism — 500 block of Garfield Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 1:19 a.m. Friday. The vehicle's driver-side tires were reported slashed and the driver-side door was reported damaged. The damage was valued at $1,000.

Burglary — 200 block of Oak Grove Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a burglary at 2:26 p.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included miscellaneous hand tools, electric drills, sander, rototiller, toolbox, Dremel tool, three-room tent and battery-powered lantern. The loss was valued at $2,590.

Vandalism — First block of West Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 9:45 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle's soft top was reported slashed and its center console reported damaged. The damage was valued at $1,000.
