Medford police arrested Johnson Wednesday on felony charges of distributing and possessing methamphetamine and possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday and released Thursday because of overcrowding.
Drugs — Aaron Marshal Dewett, 40, of the 3600 block of Galls Creek Road, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Dewett Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of contempt and for failing to appear in court on a previous driving while suspended charge. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday.
Drugs — Brittany Marie Tudor, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Tudor Thursday on felony charges of possessing and distributing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.
Drugs — Tommy Canale, 50, of Bakersfield, California. Medford police arrested Canale Thursday on felony charges of possessing and distributing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.
Assault — Benyam Samuel Broeckel, 28, no known address. Medford police arrested Broeckel Thursday on a felony charge of second-degree assault, misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief and reckless endangering, and for violating his parole on a second-degree robbery conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.
Vehicle Theft — Tassaney Louise Mahoney, 36, of the 3800 block of Antelope Road, White City. On Thursday, Mahoney made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.
Assault — Michael Arthur Forbes, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Forbes Thursday on felony charges of coercion and fourth-degree assault on a pregnant woman, and on misdemeanor charges of violating a restraining order and harassment. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $42,500 bail.
Drugs — Harold Floyd Payne, 41, of the 6100 block of Tolo Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Payne Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, possessing and distributing heroin, manufacturing, possessing and distributing heroin and for felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail Thursday on more than $1.5 million bail.
Drugs — Justine Priscilla Marie Gonzales, 24, no known arrest. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Gonzales Thursday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, a misdemeanor charge of contempt, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was lodged in jail on $45,500 bail.
Theft — 3400 block of Cascara Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:34 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a Powernail flooring gun, undercut saw, Hitachi framing gun, Bosch jigsaw, Hitachi nail gun, Dremel tool and Bosch impact gun. The loss was valued at $2,670.
