Felony arrests

Theft — Andrew Buzan, 25, of the 1300 block of Lawnridge Street, Medford. Ashland police arrested Buzan Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Jonathan Steven Temple, 24, of the 9700 block of Blackwell Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Temple Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of violating a restraining order. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday because o overcrowding.

Vehicle Theft — Athenian Kronus Russell, 18, of the 1700 block of Ninth Street, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Russell Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Kaidyn John Weigert, 19, of the 2500 block of Falcon Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Weigert Friday on a felony warrant charging methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Emmett Norman Calhoun Jr., 31, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Calhoun Friday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and carrying a concealed knife, warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of third-degree robbery, possessing heroin and methamphetamine, harassment, providing false information to police and first-degree trespassing and third-degree theft.

Robbery — Jordinn Lee Ballard, 23, of the 300 block of Garfield Street, Ashland. On Friday, Ballard made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of third-degree robbery and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and second-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Forgery —Joel David Wurch, 36, no known address. On Friday, Wurch made his initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree possession of a forged instrument and possessing a forgery device. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Forgery — Jennifer Lynn Statham, 32, no known address. On Friday, Statham made her initial court appearance on felony charges of first-degree possession of a forged instrument and possessing a forgery device. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Angela Marie Kozloski, 31, of the 600 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. On Friday, Kozloski made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Crime reports

Theft — 1000 block of Terminal Loop Parkway, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen jewelry at 2:33 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $11,150.

Burglary — 1000 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 9:04 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included an HP laptop, Canon digital still camera and Canon video camera, about 10 flash drives, over-the-counter medication, a decorative sign and a bottle of perfume. The loss and damage to the building was valued at $5,967.

Theft — 1200 block of Disk Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:43 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a wireless truck crane remote control and a lunchbox. The loss and damage to a chain link fence was valued at $7,120.

Vandalism — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle's driver door at 3:27 p.m. Friday. The damage to the vehicle was valued at $1,200.
