Felony arrests

Sex Offender Registration — Travis Dale Penninger, 33, of the 2300 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Penninger Tuesday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous meth-possession charges. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday and released Wednesday because of overcrowding.

Elude — Diego Geovanny Lopez, 32, of the 2000 block of Mill Creek Drive, Prospect. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Lopez Tuesday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine, manufacturing and distributing heroin, felon in possession of a restricted weapon, driving under the influence of intoxicants and for violating his probation on a previous unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. He remained lodged in the jail Wednesday on $80,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Taylor Nicole Shull, 21, of the 2000 block of Mill Creek Drive, Prospect. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Shull Tuesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of hindering prosecution and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous third-degree theft charge. She was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Timothy Andrew Reimer, 32, of the 100 block of Ball Road, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Reimer Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft and for violating his probation on a previous marijuana possession conviction. He remained lodged in the jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Garrett William Melton, 29, of the 100 block of Cottage Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Melton Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $15,000 bail.

Sex Offender Registration — Thomas Carl Ruth, 49, no known address. Medford police arrested Ruth Wednesday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender on his birthday and for violating his probation on a previous meth-possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Timothy Lee Morris, 38, of the 600 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Morris Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $25,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Troy Anthony Jones, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Jones Wednesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police in a vehicle and possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and for violating his probation on a previous third-degree robbery conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $32,500 bail.

Drugs — Michael Clayton Miller, 43, of the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Miller Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $17,500 bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 300 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a burglary to a business at 9:49 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a Q-See digital video recorder and keys to seven vehicles. The loss and damage to the building window was valued at $3,350.

Theft — 100 block of North Front Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. A Pioneer car stereo unit was reported stolen. The loss and damage to the front passenger-side window was valued at $1,350.

Burglary — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary at 9:17 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included two portable communications generators, an electric drill with auger, a halogen tripod work light and jumper cables in a soft case. The loss was valued at $5,115.

Burglary — First block of South Barneburg Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 2:11 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a bicycle, two fly rods and reels and various fly fishing flies. The loss was valued at $5,004.
