Felony arrests

Drugs — Michella Marie Gater, 30, of the 2500 block of Ashwood Court, Medford. Medford police arrested Gater Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft and for violating her parole on a previous meth-possession conviction. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail.

Identity Theft — Francisco Garcia-Lopez, 37, of the 3700 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Phoenix police arrested Garcia-Lopez Friday on a felony charge of identity theft and a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police. He was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Martinez Thomas, 63, of the 600 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Thomas Friday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and a Schedule II controlled substance, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing meth and second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released Friday.

Theft — Tanner Ray Sowell, 34, of the 100 block of Daryl Lane, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Sowell Friday on a felony warrant charging him with first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Cory Alan Bath, 44, of Klamath Falls. Medford police arrested Bath Friday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. Jackson County sheriff's deputies later arrested Bath on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Criminal Mischief — Kacie Shoshana Garrett, 32, of the 100 block of Twin Echo Way, Jacksonville. On Friday, Garrett made an appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief and attempted first-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and tampering with evidence. She was lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Sexual Abuse — Juan Carlos Lopez, 26, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Medford. On Friday, Lopez made his initial court appearance on two felony counts of second-degree sexual abuse. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Driving While Suspended — Loria Elease Charlton, 54, of the 2100 block of Taylor Road, Central Point. On Friday, Charlton made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of driving while suspended. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Child Neglect — William Anthony Pray, 38, no known address. Medford police arrested Pray Friday on felony charges of first-degree child neglect, first-degree possession of a forged instrument and distributing, possessing and manufacturing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and violating a no-contact order. He was lodged in jail Friday on more than $1 million bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 700 block of West McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen touchscreen car stereo and alarm system at 1:02 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $1,300.

Lost Property — Lozier Lane and Lozier Court. Medford police took a report of a lost DJI Phantom 4 quadcopter at 9:11 a.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $1,500.
