Police look for Cave Junction woman missing since Thanksgiving
A 20-year-old Southern Oregon woman has been missing since Thanksgiving, according to a press release Monday from Oregon State Police.
OSP and the Medford Police Department are working together to find Kayla Lee Yarbrough, whose family has not seen her since Thanksgiving 2016, the release said. Yarbrough's family lives in Cave Junction and reported her missing in February. The family filed a missing person's report in Medford because of Yarbrough's association with a resident here, Medford police said.
Yarbrough is described as 20 years old, 5-feet-2 and 130 pounds with red/strawberry blond hair. Investigators and family are concerned for her safety, saying it is out of character for her not to stay in touch with her family or friends. Investigators believe she was last known to frequent the Cave Junction area.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call OSP Detective Bryan Scott at 541-618-7957 or the Medford Police Department at 541-774-2299.
