Felony arrests

Assault — Nicholas Elijah Liles, 22, of the 2900 block of Cloverlawn Drive, Grants Pass. Rogue River police arrested Liles Friday on a felony warrant charging him with fourth-degree assault, and on misdemeanor warrants for fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Markayla Antonette Cotton, 22, of the 900 block of Broad Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Cotton Friday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and hydrocodone and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous heroin possession charge. She was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Robbery — Peter Riley Lent, 18, no known address. Medford police arrested Lent Friday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, and on misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Zachary Scott Starnes, 22, no known address. Medford police arrested Starnes Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor contempt charge. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — David Wayne Rose, 57, of the 2400 block of Finley Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Rose Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Jason Thomas Barrall, 40, of the 1400 block of Ashland Street, Ashland. Talent police arrested Barrall Saturday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and felon in possession of a firearm, and on misdemeanor charges of driving while suspended and carrying a concealed firearm. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Assault — Jonathan David Cureno, 32, of the 2100 block of Roberts Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Cureno Saturday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and on misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and violating a no-contact order. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Criminal Mischief — Rebecca Caron Carter, 38, of the 600 block of Clear View Way, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Carter Saturday on a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief and on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. She was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Assault — Jerry Lynn Grindstaff, 65, of the 700 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Grindstaff Saturday on a felony charge of third-degree assault and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and a contempt charge. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $13,000 bail.

Drugs — Carmen Victoria Ceremony, 38, no known address. Medford police arrested Ceremony Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and interfering with police, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of providing false information to police, resisting arrest, interfering with police and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in jail on $26,500 bail.
