Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Rocky Allen Rockwell, 22, no known address. Medford police arrested Rockwell Tuesday on an additional felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Medford police originally arrested Rockwell Monday for violating his probation on a previous conviction for manufacturing marijuana. He remained lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Kirby James Chubb, 36, of the 400 block of Freeman Road, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Chubb Monday on felony charges of distributing and possessing methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.

Vehicle Theft — Matthew Jay Burke, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Burke Monday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Monday and released Tuesday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Nathan Lee Glover, 36, no known address. Medford police arrested Glover Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine and driving while suspended, and for violating his parole on a previous meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Trisha Dawn Ray Elgin, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Elgin Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of interfering with a police officer and on out-of-county warrants for failing to appear in court on a contempt charge and violating her probation on a first-degree theft charge. She was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Travis Dale Penninger, 24, of the 2300 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Penninger Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of interfering with police and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge. He was lodged in jail Tuesday without bail.

Drugs — Guillermo Ishtar Guitron III, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Guitron Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of distributing and possessing cocaine, possessing methamphetamine and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $50,500 bail.

Burglary — Rebecca Keanna West, 25, no known address. Phoenix police arrested West Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, and on misdemeanor charges of first-degree trespassing and violating a restraining order. She was lodged in jail Tuesday on $30,000 bail.

Rape — Charlton Ashley Boozer, 27, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Boozer Tuesday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree rape and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He was lodged in jail Tuesday on $1 million bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 500 block of West Jackson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 10:08 a.m. Monday. Items reported stolen included a laptop, computer tablet, red and black backpack, wallet and Mega Millions lottery ticket. the loss was valued at $1,765.

Burglary — 300 block of Lowry Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 12:43 p.m. Monday. About $100 worth of food including hot dogs, ice cream, chicken and burgers were reported stolen, and damage to the steel door was valued at $1,000.

Burglary — 1000 block of West 13th Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 12:54 p.m. Monday. A 52-inch LG TV was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,000.

Theft — 2400 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday. Porter-Cable cordless tools were reported stolen. the loss and damage to a truck canopy was valued at $1,048.
