Felony arrests

Drugs — Aaron Dale Eaton, 40, of the first block of Reager Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Eaton Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor count of failing to appear in court on a previous third-degree theft charge. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Levi Michael Jonathan Wear, 30, of the 2600 block of Scenic Avenue, Central Point. Medford police arrested Wear Friday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a previous meth-possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Elude — Richard John Bell II, 32, of the 7700 block of Bellaire Way, White City. Medford police arrested Bell Friday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous third-degree theft charge and for violating his parole on an oxycodone-possession conviction. He remained lodged in jail Saturday without bail.

Promoting Prostitution — Mykeal Duprice Crumb, 25, of Stockton, California. Medford police arrested Crumb Friday on two felony counts of promoting prostitution. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday after posting bail.

Promoting Prostitution — Lafayette Toney, 35, of Stockton, California. Medford police arrested Toney Saturday on four felony counts of promoting prostitution. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $500,000 bail.

Assaulting an Officer — Shannon Christine Towe, 20, no known address. Medford police arrested Towe Saturday on a felony charge of assaulting a police officer and misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and second-degree trespassing. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $15,000 bail.

Drugs — Melinda Jonelle Kershner, 29, of the 3400 block of Poppy Woods Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Kershner Saturday on felony charges of possessing heroin and methamphetamine, a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous second-degree theft charge and on out-of-county warrants for possessing heroin and meth, resisting arrest and endangering a minor. She was lodged in jail Saturday on more than $1.3 million.

Promoting Prostitution — Anterion Dante Lavar Suggs, 29, of Sacramento, California. Medford police arrested Suggs Saturday on felony charges of promoting prostitution and possessing MDMA. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $100,000 bail.

Drugs — Gary Owen Moody, 30, of the 3900 block of Obenchain road, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Moody Saturday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and oxycodone, and on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Burglary — Travis Alexander Slack, 20, of the 2200 block of Greenbrook Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Slack Saturday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and on misdemeanor charges of first-degree trespassing, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Toriano Lee Butler, 44, no known address. Medford police arrested Butler Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth-possession charge. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $15,000 bail.

Drugs — Matthew Ryan Pierpoint, 30, no known address. Medford police arrested Pierpoint Saturday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of attempting to elude police on foot, reckless driving and reckless endangering and for violating his parole on a previous conviction for attempting to elude police in a vehicle. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.
