Felony arrests

Drugs — Timothy Andrew Reimer, 32, of the 100 block of Ball Road, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Reimer Thursday on an additional felony count of possessing heroin. Medford police originally arrested Reimer Wednesday for violating his parole on a previous marijuana possession conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Assault — Karan Cassidy Johnson, 18, of the 1100 block of Oak Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Johnson Wednesday on a felony count of fourth-degree assault witnessed by a minor, and on misdemeanor counts of harassment and strangulation. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Burglary — Tanner Ray Sowell, 34, of the 100 block of Daryl Lane, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Sowell Wednesday on felony counts of first- and second-degree burglary, three counts of aggravated first-degree theft and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous counts of first- and second-degree theft. He remained lodged in the jail Thursday on $55,000 bail.

Drugs — Francisco Javier Lopez Jr., 36, of Gerber, California. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Lopez Wednesday on felony counts of possessing and distributing methamphetamine and possessing and distributing heroin. He remained lodged in the jail Thursday on $500,000 bail.

Assault — Joshua Noah Haggans, 44, no known address. Medford police arrested Haggans Thursday on a felony charge of second-degree assault, and Oregon State Police troopers Thursday arrested Haggans on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous meth-possession charges. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $130,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Evajean Marie Pilcher, 20, of Oroville, California. Phoenix police arrested Pilcher Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Travis Dale Penninger, 34, of the 2300 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Talent police and Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Penninger Thursday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree forgery and for violating his probation on a previous vehicle theft charge. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Edward Russell Cole, 40, of Jackson, Tennessee. On Thursday, Cole made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Latasha Nicole Harmon, 34, of the 900 block of Northeast 10th Street, Grants Pass. On Thursday, Harmon made her initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Anthony Wayne Hegler, 26, of the 6600 block of Oakhurst Street, Central Point. On Thursday, Hegler made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing heroin. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Theft — Nicole Marie Dominguez, 34, no known address. Medford police arrested Dominguez on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail. 

Mail Theft — Anthony Francis Mattie, 23, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Mattie on four felony counts of mail theft and a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 1000 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 5:34 p.m. Wednesday. Four black rims and Open Country tires were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $1,500.

Theft/Vandalism — 2800 block of Biddle Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism and theft at 7:08 a.m. Thursday. Two welders and a plasma cutter were reported stolen, and a chain-link fence was cut. The loss and damage was valued at $2,900.
