Felony arrests

Drugs — Kristian Kay Wattenbarger, 24, of the first block of Poplar Drive, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Wattenbarger Wednesday on a felony counts of distributing , manufacturing and possessing heroin, possessing methamphetamine and manufacturing hydrocodone. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $560,000 bail.

Robbery — Derek Andrew Weakley, 23, of the 700 block of Beatty Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Weakley Wednesday on felony counts of third-degree robbery and possessing heroin, misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree assault and second-degree theft, and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous heroin-possession charge. He remained lodged in jail Thursday on $37,500 bail.

Burglary — Daniel Neil Ames, 33, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Ames Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree assault, misdemeanor counts of menacing, harassment and interfering with someone making a police report. He remained lodged in jail Thursday on $250,000 bail.

Drugs — Heather Rene Ulrey, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Ulrey Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a felony warrant for possessing meth, a misdemeanor charge of interfering with police and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of third-degree robbery, possessing heroin and possessing meth. She was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday because of overcrowding.

Drugs — Selena Desiree Gurule, 21, of the 500 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Gurule Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a detainer on a previous meth-possession charge. She was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday.

Theft — Amber June Williams, 29, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Williams Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday because of overcrowding.

Sex Offender Registration — Wesley Kevin Hoseclaw, 52, no known address. Medford police arrested Hoseclaw Wednesday on two felony counts of failing to register his address as a sex offender and for violating his parole on a previous attempted first-degree rape conviction. He remained lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Attempted Murder — Ronnie Lee Roach, 56, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Roach Thursday on felony charges of attempted murder, attempted first-degree assault, second-degree assault and felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $307,500 bail.

Coercion — Kevin Mark Goering, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Goering Thursday on felony charges of coercion and possessing methamphetamine, and on misdemeanor charges of violating a no-contact order, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $35,000 bail.

Drugs — Michael Jarrod Bakkela, 38, no known address. Medford police arrested Bakkela Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of second-degree trespassing, and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Andrew Redding Strange, 48, no known address. Jackson Count sheriff's deputies arrested Strange Thursday on a felony charge of possessing cocaine and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous heroin-possession charge. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 200 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of four stolen sex toys at 10:52 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $1,305.

Theft — 200 block of South Modoc Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 6:16 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a Victorinox Swiss Army style watch, eyeglasses in a white case, a tan leather purse, tan bifold wallet, various gift cards, four debit cards and four credit cards. The loss was valued at $1,084.

Theft — 2500 block of North Keene Way Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 7:32 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a pound and a half of 14-karat gold, a cross necklace with gold, diamonds and silver, and a half pound of silver sticks. The loss was valued at $22,273.
