Felony arrests

Witness Tampering — Joshua Joseph MacDonald-Pose, 30, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested MacDonald-Pose Friday on an additional felony charge of tampering with a witness. Medford police originally arrested MacDonald-Pose April 20 on previous felony charges of first- and second-degree manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on previous misdemeanor counts of carrying a concealed knife, reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $507,500 bail.

Drugs — Christopher Brennan Nelson, 32, of the first block of Emerick Street, Ashland. Medford police arrested Nelson Thursday on felony charges of possessing heroin, methamphetamine and a Schedule I controlled substance, and for violating his parole on a previous heroin distribution conviction. He remained lodged in jail Friday without bail.

Drugs — Savannah Dawn Crocker, 21, of the 2500 block of Thorn Oak Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Crocker Thursday on a felony warrant charging her with possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released Friday because of overcrowding.

Theft — Donald Raymond Wilson, 43, of the 1000 block of Chevney Way, Shady Cove. On Friday, Wilson made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony first-degree theft charge. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Theft — Frances Shafer, 57, of Fresno, California. On Friday, Shafer made her initial court appearance on two felony counts of first-degree theft. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Drugs — Annette Rae Ball, 43, no known address. Ashland police arrested Ball Friday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and two felony counts of possessing methamphetamine. She remained lodged in jail Friday on $25,000 bail.

Crime report

Theft — 2600 block of Tahitian Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a a stolen purple Santa Cruz Juliana mountain bike at 9:02 p.m. Thursday. The loss was valued at $2,500.
