Felony arrests

Attempted Murder — Shadow Omallah Iles, 45, of the 200 block of Sparrow Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Iles Friday on additional felony charges of attempted murder, first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Medford police originally arrested Iles Thursday on felony charges of second- and fourth-degree assault. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $500,000 bail.

Drugs — Raymond Lee Henderson III, 32, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Henderson Thursday on felony charges of distributing and possessing heroin and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, felony warrants charging Henderson with coercion and hit-and-run, misdemeanor charges of hit-and-run and reckless endangering and on misdemeanor warrants charging him with fourth-degree assault, strangulation, harassment and tampering with evidence.

Burglary — Aaron David Earl Waller, 38, of the 1000 block of Beall Lane, Central Point. Medford police arrested Waller Thursday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday on his own recognizance.

Rape — Levi Ray Shepard, 29, of the 800 block of Palm Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Shepard Thursday on felony charges of first-degree rape and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He was lodged in jail Friday on $500,000 bail.

Burglary — Jordan Richard Rock, 23, of the 7400 block of Highway 227. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Rock Friday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of interfering with police, reckless driving and attempting to elude police on foot, and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin, first-degree burglary, first-, second- and third-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief and reckless driving. He was lodged in jail Friday on $125,000 bail.

Drugs — Christina Faye Bell, 44, of the 1800 block of West Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. On Friday, Bell made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Friday on her own recognizance.

Assault — Peter Scott Loheed, 62, no known address. Medford police arrested Loheed Friday on felony charges of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, and on a misdemeanor charge of menacing. He was lodged in jail Friday on $112,500 bail.
