Felony arrests

Drugs — Daniel Vincent Jones, 40, of the 4900 block of Old Upton Road, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Jones Tuesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Robbery — Jordan Christopher Jones, 20, of the 4900 block of Dark Hollow Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Jones Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree assault. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $200,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Jillian Lisa Marie Mahon, 28, of the 1700 block of Anderson Creek Road, Talent. Central Point police arrested Mahon Wednesday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and third-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor warrants charging her with failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, first- and second-degree forgery, identity theft, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and providing false information to police, and for violating her parole on a previous stolen vehicle possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Mail Theft — Alexander David Kinney, 36, of the 20000 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. Medford police arrested Kinney Wednesday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and mail theft, and on misdemeanor charges of second- and third-degree theft and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $32,500 bail.

Supplying Contraband — Ashley Lynn Kengle, 28, of the 2700 block of Howard Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Kengle Wednesday on felony charges of supplying contraband, possessing methamphetamine and possessing heroin, and on felony warrants for possessing meth and heroin. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $37,500 bail.

Mail Theft — Joe Randall Thompson, 24, of the 700 block of Second Street, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Thompson Wednesday on felony charge of mail theft and possessing methamphetamine, on a misdemeanor charge of a unlawfully entering a motor vehicle, on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous meth-possession charge and for violating his parole on a prior meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Cody Victor Sly, 23, no known address. On Wednesday, Sly made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of possessing heroin and possessing methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a prior third-degree theft charge.

Drugs — Amber Lynn Ziegler, 22, of the 500 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ziegler Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior meth-possession conviction. She was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Range Caleb Eider, 19, no known address. Medford police arrested Eider Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail.

Drugs —  Cruz Anthony Rangel, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Rangel Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a prior meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Crime report

Theft — 1200 block of East McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in at 9:25 a.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a Browning 1911 firearm, Garmin GPS, Vortex Diamondback binoculars, a Badlands backpack, a Bushnell rangefinder, two Apple iPod devices and another GPS device. The loss and damage to the vehicle window was valued at $3,332.

Theft — First block of Jack Nicklaus Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vehicle break-in and theft at 8:57 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a Garmin GPS device, a radar detector, a duffle bag containing fire safety equipment, a Bose portable speaker, sets of firefighting pants, computer accessories and flashlights. The loss and damage to the vehicle's rear passenger-side door was valued at $2,485.

Burglary — 3400 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday. Numerous types of construction tools were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $100,000.

Vandalism — 1200 block of East McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to an ATM and paneling around the ATM at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $20,000.
