Felony arrests

Theft — Benjamin Frederick Rowland, 39, no known address. Medford police arrested Rowland Wednesday on an additional felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor count of theft of lost or mislaid property. Medford police originally arrested Rowland Oct. 11 on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and misdemeanor charges of violating a restraining order. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Driving While Suspended — Jesse R. Jones, 27, of the 7700 block of Kingston Circle, White City. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Jones Tuesday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked, and on misdemeanor charges of delivering less than an ounce of marijuana and unlawfully possessing marijuana. He was booked in the jail Tuesday and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Elude — Tanner Ray Sowell, 35, of the 100 block of Daryl Lane, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Sowell Tuesday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and second-degree theft. Jackson County Circuit Court charged Sowell Wednesday on felony charges of aggravated first-degree theft, first-degree theft, first- and second-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and attempting to elude police on foot. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $125,000 bail.

Assault — Andres Z. Nuno, 22, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Nuno Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault witnessed by a minor, misdemeanor charges of strangulation and harassment, and for violating his parole on a prior attempted first-degree assault conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Gustavo Plascencia-Soria, 43, no known address. Medford police arrested Plascencia-Soria Wednesday on a felony charge of delivering a controlled substance to a minor, and on misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and recklessly endangering. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $510,000 bail.

Theft — 1300 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen expandable ladder at 12:28 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $300.

Burglary — 500 block of Franquette Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a residence at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included an iPhone 6, and iPad Pro, an iPad Mini, a Sonos wireless speaker and an Amazon Echo Alexa speaker. The loss was valued at $1,660.

Theft — 1300 block of Center Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen gold tone Bulova watch at 8:01 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $521.

Theft — 3900 block of Arrowhead Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:29 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a black jacket with hood, cell phone chargers and a Verizon Hum automotive Bluetooth speaker. The loss was valued at $80.

Vandalism — 1100 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a car's convertible top at 10:39 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $1,600.

Theft — 700 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen bicycle at 11:03 a.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $250.
