Sex Offender — Jeffrey Dennis Rupert, 58, of the 900 block of Spring Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Rupert Friday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender on his birthday. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Friday and released Saturday on his own recognizance.
Sexual Abuse — Jerry Duane Lodge, 72, of the 700 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Lodge Friday on felony charges of first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree unlawful sexual penetration. He remained lodged in jail Saturday on $1 million bail.
Drugs — Michael Anthony Mann, 61, no known address. Medford police arrested Mann Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor warrant on a prior charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance.
Coercion — Connor Joseph Kapphahn, 19, no known address. Medford police arrested Kapphahn Saturday on a felony charge of coercion, and on misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault, harassment and second-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Saturday on $22,500 bail.
Theft — First block of North Front Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen iPhone 6 at 1:15 a.m. Saturday. The loss was valued at $800.
Theft — 800 block of Mindy Sue, Medford. Medford police took a report of motor vehicle theft at 7:03 a.m. Saturday. Items inside the vehicle included a case of Kirkland Signature beer, packs of root beer, Pepsi and 7-Up, a first aid kit, two Thermos containers and a handicapped parking placard. Inside the vehicle were valued at $112.
