Felony arrests

Burglary Tools — Cory James Bailey, 29, of the 3100 block of Juniper Ridge Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Bailey Thursday on an additional felony charge of possessing burglary tools, and on additional misdemeanor charges of third-degree theft and providing false information to police. Medford police originally arrested Bailey Sunday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary, misdemeanor count of third-degree theft and for violating his probation on a prior first-degree burglary conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Rose Marie Falk, 35, no known address. Medford police arrested Falk Thursday on an additional felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and an additional misdemeanor charge of unlawfully entering a motor vehicle. Jackson County sheriff's deputies originally arrested Falk Tuesday on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, vehicle-theft, unlawful vehicle entry, was charged Wednesday on felony counts of identity theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possessing a stolen vehicle, along with misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit card. She remains lodged in the jail Thursday on $187,500 bail.

Drugs — Weston Jovan Epp, 23, of Port Townsend, Washington. Ashland police arrested Epp Wednesday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing hydrocodone, and on misdemeanor charges of false swearing, and manufacturing, delivering and possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance. He remained lodged in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail.

Burglary — Mickey Ray Galatz, 23, of the 900 block of North Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Galatz Thursday on felony charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree theft, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior meth-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Mark Anthony Sotelo, 31, of the 300 block of Bessie Street, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Sotelo Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, manufacturing, delivering and possessing cocaine, manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing and delivering heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing and delivering cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing a marijuana extract and possessing greater than a quarter ounce of marijuana extract, felon in possession of a restricted weapon, a misdemeanor contempt of court charge, a sanction for violating his probation on a prior felon in possession of a restricted weapon conviction and on a California fugitive warrant. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Renee Nicole Sotelo, 41, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Sotelo Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, manufacturing, delivering and possessing cocaine, manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing and delivering heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing and delivering cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing a marijuana extract and possessing greater than an ounce of a marijuana extract. She remained lodged in jail Thursday on more than $2.1 million bail.

Drugs — Jesse Angel Yanez, 23, of the 300 block of Bessie Street, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Yanez Thursday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, manufacturing, delivering and possessing cocaine, manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing and delivering heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing and delivering methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing and delivering cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school, manufacturing a marijuana extract and possessing greater than an ounce of marijuana extract. He was lodged in jail Thursday on more than $2.1 million bail.

Assault — Joshua Garcia, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Garcia Thursday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault and misdemeanor charges of harassment and third-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $12,500 bail.

Vehicle Theft — Glenn Douglas Abney Jr., 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Abney Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior heroin-possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Elude — Travis Michael Sallas, 28, no known address. Central Point police arrested Sallas Thursday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run and reckless driving. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $17,500 bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 2300 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 7:28 a.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen included a backpack blower and other landscapting equipment. The loss and damage to locks was valued at $1,736.

Theft — 3500 block of Heathrow Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen vehicle at  1:59 p.m. Thursday. Items reported stolen inside the vehicle included a Craftsman soft tool case containing hand tools, Red Wing work boots, a bag of work clothes and a Weber portable barbecue. The items inside the vehicle were valued at $1,470.
