Burglary — Mindy Alizabeth Harrison, 24, of the 2400 block of Highway 62, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Harrison Wednesday on a felony charge of second-degree burglary and a misdemeanor charge of possessing a burglary tool. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $12,500 bail.
Drugs — Makani Hopkins, 46, no known address. Ashland police arrested Hopkins Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail.
Burglary — Chelena Estelle Chalakee, 30, of the 800 block of Talent Avenue, Talent. On Wednesday, Chalakee made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of first-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and mail theft. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.
Sex Offender Registration — Ryan Dean Overby, 35, of the 300 block of South Orange Street, Medford. On Wednesday, Overby made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.
Drugs — Nathan Alexander Coggins, 28, of the 200 block of West Pine Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Coggins Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing a Schedule II controlled substance, and on misdemeanor charges of interfering with a police officer, possessing a Schedule III controlled substance and for violating his parole on a prior methamphetamine possession conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.
Drugs — Darya Angel Hernandez-Hernandez, 39, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Hernandez-Hernandez Wednesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Wednesday on $507,500 bail.
Theft — 1700 block of Sandstone Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle at 7:44 a.m. Tuesday. Miscellaneous pens and paperwork was reported stolen, and the loss was valued at $50.
Theft — 1500 block of Larkspur Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle at 8:47 a.m. Tuesday. A blue Nike school bag was reported stolen containing a small Bluetooth speaker, school books and paperwork. The loss was valued at $41.
Vandalism — 400 block of Eads Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a yard water hydrant at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday. The damage was valued at $300.
Theft — 400 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of stolen guns at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday. Items reported stolen included a black gun with a red front sight, a black older-model Beretta and a black gun with a dark wooden grip. The loss was valued at $1,400.
