Felony arrests

Drugs — Isaac Phillip Escoto, 23, of the 1000 block of Ross Lane North, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force and Medford police arrested Escoto Wednesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing heroin, possessing oxycodone and on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of fourth-degree assault and recklessly endangering. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $515,000 bail.

Elude — Jarvis O. J. Gronholm, 32, no known address. Medford police arrested Gronholm Thursday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and failing to register his address as a sex offender, and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior failure to register his address as a sex offender conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Marijuana — John Christopher Dudash, 25, of Orland Park, Illinois. On Thursday, Dudash made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of manufacturing a marijuana item. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Criminal Mischief — Tyreese Lasaun Key, 21, no known address. Medford police arrested Key Thursday on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief, assaulting a police officer and failing to register his address as a sex offender, misdemeanor charges of attempted second-degree burglary and harassment, and for violating his parole on a prior second-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $7,500 bail.

Aggravated Identity Theft — Jennifer Marie Henney, 42, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Henney Thursday on felony charges of aggravated identity theft and mail theft, on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of identity theft and second-degree theft and on an out-of-county warrant charging her with possessing methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail Thursday on $80,000 bail.

Weapon Use — Daniel Scott Hammers, 33, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hammers Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with unlawful use of a weapon, on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with menacing and on warrants charging him with failing to appear in court on previous charges of third-degree robbery and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 2600 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft at 8:23 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included an impact drill, finish gun, air compressor and chalk line level. The loss and damage to drywall was valued at $1,010.

Theft — 1000 block of Court Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of slashed tires to a vehicle at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday. The damage was valued at $500.

Theft — 4300 block of Hadley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen cross pendant at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $250.

Theft — 300 block of Benson Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen 1940s yellow gold, 1.2 carat diamond ring at 2:08 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $5,000.

Theft — 1200 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a black portable hard drive, a hooded work jacket, a portable battery charger and a leather Moleskine journal. The loss was valued at $290.

Burglary — 900 block of Medford Center, Medford. Medford police took a report of burglary to a business at 6:20 a.m. Thursday. Items reported included a 19-inch Craig TV in a box, and a blue roller cooler with white lid and pull handle . The loss and damage to a large safety glass window was valued at $700.

Theft — 1000 block of Welcome Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 11:12 a.m. Thursday. A black Kate Spade purse was reported stolen. The loss was valued at $300.
