Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Luis Manuel Rivera Jr., 32, of the 2300 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Rivera Tuesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor counts of second-degree forgery and for violating his probation on a prior methamphetamine-possession conviction. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Karen Janette Salas, 22, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Salas Tuesday on felony warrants charging her with delivering and possessing heroin, on a misdemeanor contempt of court charge and on misdemeanor warrants charging her with failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing heroin, possessing methamphetamine, attempting to elude police in a vehicle, providing false information to police, second-degree theft, driving under the influence of intoxicants, attempting to elude police on foot, recklessly endangering, reckless driving and hit-and-run. She remained lodged in jail Thursday on $67,500 bail.

Drugs — Corey Matthew Blakey, 29, no known address. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Blakey Tuesday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, possessing cocaine, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of body armor, on misdemeanor warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of delivering and possessing heroin and possessing meth and for violating his parole on a prior heroin-delivery conviction. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Weapon — Richard Wallace Carlyle II, 37, of the first block of Reager Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Carlyle Tuesday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of possessing methamphetamine, second-degree forgery, second-degree possessing a forged instrument and possessing a concealed firearm. He remained lodged in jail Wednesday on $7,500 bail.

Drugs — Jaime Javier Perez, 36, of the 600 block of West 11th Street, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Perez Wednesday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, and on an-out-of-county warrant charging him with violating his probation on a prior meth-delivery conviction. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Rape — Neil Otis Watford, 32, of the 5200 block of New Hope Road, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Watford Wednesday on felony counts of third-degree rape, third-degree sodomy and second-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail Wednesday on $75,000 bail.

Drugs — Timothy France, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested France Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine, a sanction for violating his probation on a prior conviction for felon in possession of a restricted weapon and on an out-of-county warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on a previous charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in jail Wednesday without bail.

Crime reports

Theft — 500 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen black and purple mountain bike at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $300.

Vandalism — 600 block of West Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism at 11:07 a.m. Tuesday. Damage to a small front window was valued at $100.

Theft — First block of Rossanley Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of shoplifted Beats Solo headphones at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was valued at $400.

Theft — 300 block of East Sixth Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 8:19 a.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a gun with rust under the barrell, a car wash gift card and two phone chargers. The loss was valued at $485.

Theft — 1000 block of Newcastle Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen dog house with heater at 3:11 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $235.

Theft — 1100 block of Court Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a yellow Medela breast pump in a lunch pail-style case at 4:29 p.m. Wednesday. The loss was valued at $216.
