Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Danks Wednesday on felony charges of third-degree robbery, fourth-degree assault and strangulation, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and recklessly endangering another person. He remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $175,000 bail.
Assault — Gabriel N. Stevens, 21, of the 700 block of Terra Avenue, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Stevens Wednesday on felony charges of second-degree assault, and on misdemeanor charges of violating a restraining order, possessing a concealed firearm, recklessly endangering and negligently wounding another. He remained lodged in jail Thursday on $107,500 bail.
Robbery — Marcus Dwayne Harper, 25, no known address. Medford police arrested Harper Wednesday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery and a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Thursday.
Drugs — Cortney Jordin Re, 27, of the 700 block of Hazel Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Re Thursday on felony warrants charging her with possessing heroin and methamphetamine, and on a sanction charging her with possessing heroin. She was lodged in jail Thursday without bail.
Marijuana — Kelli Bryn Chott, 35, of the 1200 block of Kraig Avenue, Medford. On Thursday, Chott made her initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on felony charges of unlawfully delivering and possessing a marijuana item, and on three felony counts of possessing a stolen vehicle. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.
Animal Abuse — Pedro Castellanos-Sabino, 38, of the 7700 block of Wilson Way, White City. On Thursday, Castellanos-Sabino made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of first-degree animal abuse, and on misdemeanor charges of first- and second-degree animal abuse. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.
Drugs — Daniel Andrade, 29, of the 8000 block of 25th Street, White City. On Thursday, Andrade made his initial court appearance on a felony charge of possessing cocaine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.
Assault — Jesse Joseph Grogan Sr., 43, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Grogan Thursday on a felony warrant charging him with third-degree assault and misdemeanor warrants charging him with fourth-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct, and on warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of harassment and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail Thursday on $22,500 bail.
Robbery — Bear Creek Greenway in Medford. Medford police took a report of a robbery at 6:21 p.m. Wednesday. Items reported stolen included a phone and a gray Bluetooth speaker. The loss was valued at $1,050.
Theft — 2500 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen pneumatic air gun. The loss was valued at $380.
