Felony arrests

Criminal Mischief — Aaron Nelson Florio, 28, of the 1700 block of West Evans Creek Road, Rogue River. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday arrested Nelson on a charge of first-degree criminal mischief, a probation violation. No bail information was available.

Drugs — Michael Jonathan Barrett, 43, no known address. Central Point police Wednesday arrested Barrett on charges heroin possession, methamphetamine possession, attempting to elude police, interference with a police officer, and failure to appear for previous heroin and methamphetamine charges. No bail information was available.

Drugs — Ariel Justine Vargas, 26, of the 1700 block of Alexis Way, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Vargas on charges of heroin possession, a parole violation, and second degree theft. No bail information was available.

Identity Theft — Matthew John Mortinson, 41, of the 700 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Mortinson on charges of identity theft, a felon in possession of a restricted weapon, failure to appear on six previous methamphetamine and heroin charges, failure to appear on burglary, theft and weapon charges, and two out of county warrants. No bail information was available.

Assault — Guinevere Lea Armstrong, 35, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Medford. Ashland police Thursday arrested Armstrong on charges of first-degree assault, a probation violation, third-degree assault, resisting arrest, submitting false information about a vehicle transfer, and giving false information. No bail information was available.

Theft – Eric Christopher Andrew Rangel, 36, of the 2200 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Rangel on a charge of first-degree theft, a parole violation. No bail information was available.

Sex Abuse — Harold Dean Fox, 86, of the 1900 block of McKenize Drive. Medford police Thursday arrested Fox on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

Assault — Connor Joseph Kapphahn, 19, of the 16000 block of Watergap Road, Williams. Medford police Thursday arrested Kapphan on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, coercion, harassment and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked into jail and released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Tiffany Leann Chamber, 32, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Chamber on charges of manufacturing delivery of heroin within 1,000 feet of a school, heroin possession, driving under the influence of a controlled substance, providing false information, and failure to appear on previous theft, forgery, driving while suspend, and heroin charges. No bail information was available.

Theft — Shyann Camille Lantz, 21, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Lantz on charges of unauthorized use of motor vehicle, driving while suspended, first-degree theft, a probation violation, contempt, heroin possession, identity theft, and failure to appear for previous theft, driving while suspended and trespass charges. No bail information was available.
