Theft — Darla LeeAnn Cheek, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Cheek Friday on a felony charge of first-degree theft and for violating her parole on a prior unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction. She remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail.
Weapon Use — Rhys Mario Robert Sittingdown, 24, no known address. Eagle Point police arrested Sittingdown Saturday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of reckless endangering, menacing, strangulation, tampering with evidence and pointing a firearm at another. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday because of overcrowding.
Elude — Trent Leo Walkup, 29, of the 500 block of Orchard Place, Phoenix. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Walkup Saturday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and unauthorized use of a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of first- and second-degree trespassing, unlawfully entering a motor vehicle and reckless driving, on misdemeanor warrants charging him with failing to appear in court on previous charges of possessing methamphetamine, possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance and second-degree trespassing and for violating his parole on a third-degree robbery conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail.
Theft — 500 block of Windsor Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 9:59 a.m. Friday. An HP Omen gaming laptop and a wallet were reported stolen. The loss was valued at $2,000.
Vandalism — 100 block of South Peach Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism to a vehicle at 10:23 a.m. Friday. Dents caused by multiple kicks were valued at $800.
Vandalism — 300 block of Lowry Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of vandalism at 12:08 p.m. Friday. Damage to a concession stand lock was valued at $100.
Theft — 2400 block of Highgate Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a dark gray Specialized Hard Rock mountain bike with red lettering at 3:42 p.m. Friday. The loss was valued at $250.
Theft — 2000 block of Pinedale Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of theft from a vehicle at 11:32 a.m. Friday. Items reported stolen included a black and teal purse, Social Security card, check and bank card. The loss was valued at $604.
