Lone occupant killed in Highway 140 crash
One person is dead following a rollover crash near on Highway 140 near Fish Lake.
Oregon State Police Capt. Tim Fox confirmed that the lone occupant died Thursday evening in a single vehicle crash.
The driver’s identity and age were not released until next of kin could be notified, and the vehicle involved in the crash was not available at press time.
The crash occurred at 5:04 p.m. on Highway 140 near milepost 30, according to Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon and Oregon Department of Transportation reports.
As of 8:29 p.m., ODOT issued a severe weather hazard for ground fog and packed snow at milepost 36, roughly six miles away from where the crash occurred. For the latest road conditions see TripCheck.com.
