Felony arrests

Sex Offender — John Thomas Haynes, 61, no known address. Medford police arrested Haynes Saturday on a felony charge of failing to report as a sex offender, misdemeanor warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on previous charges of failing to register his address as a sex offender, failing to register as a sex offender on his birthday and possessing methamphetamine, and for violating his parole on a prior second-degree robbery conviction. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail.

Suspended Driving — Bodhi Li Rasmussen, 40, no known address. Talent police arrested Rasmussen Saturday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked and a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was held in jail Saturday on $15,000 bail.

Contraband — Jacqueline Melissa Baker, 35, no known address. Ashland police arrested Baker Saturday on felony charges of supplying contraband and possessing methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of third-degree theft. She was held in jail Saturday on $18,000 bail.

Arson — John Harry Nelson, 53, no known address. Medford police arrested Nelson Sunday on felony counts of second-degree arson and burglary, and a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief. He was lodged in the jail on $22,500 bail.

Burglary — Justin Allen Neff, 30, of the 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Neff on a felony burglary charge and counts of trespass, criminal mischief and theft. He was lodged in the jail on $15,000 bail.

Burglary — Rane Randall Rowlett, 53, no known address. Ashland police arrested Rowlett on a felony burglary charge, various drug possession, distribution and manufacturing charges, criminal trespass and giving false information to an officer. He was lodged in the jail without bail.

Crime report

Theft — 1600 block of North Riverside Avenue. Medford police took a report of a theft Saturday. An iPhone and two iPod Touches were stolen for a total loss of $450.

Vandalism — 400 block of North Grape Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Saturday. A purse with social security cards was stolen and a window broken for a total loss of $210.

Vandalism — 700 block of South Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vandalism to a window Saturday. The damage was estimated at $500.

Theft — 900 block of Grant Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Saturday. A Hyper Spintech 700C street bicycle was stolen for a total loss of $200.

Theft — 1000 block of Court Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Sunday. A black metal wheelbarrow with wooden handles was stolen for a total loss of $50.

Theft — 2300 block of Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft Sunday that had taken place Jan. 28. Over-the-counter medication was stolen for a total loss of $2,450.

Vandalism — 600 block of Ipson Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vandalism to a slat fence Sunday. The damage was estimated at $200.
