Felony arrests

Drugs — Buchanan Zachariah McLaughlin, 31, of the 2300 block of Highway 62, Trail. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Sunday arrested McLaughlin on charges of possession of methamphetamine and heroin and for violating the conditions of his parole on a previous sex-abuse conviction. He was lodged Monday in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Drugs — Omar Alonso Quinonez-Aispuro, 34, of the 8200 block of 23rd Street, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Monday arrested Quinonez-Aispuro on warrants charging him with possession of heroin, hit-and-run driving, reckless driving, second-degree criminal mischief and for failing to appear on assault and strangulation charges. He was lodged Monday in jail on $92,500 bail.

Burglary — Anthony Dean Person, 37, of the 300 block of Lorraine Avenue, Eagle Point. Medford police Monday arrested Person on charges of first-degree burglary, aggravated first-degree theft, being a felon in possession of a weapon and two counts of first-degree theft and for violating the conditions of his parole on a previous assault conviction. He wsas lodged Monday in jail without bail.

Sex-offender registration — Apaulo Franklin Hutchison, 40, no known address. Medford police Sunday arrested Hutchison on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodges Sunday in jail on $7,500 bail.

Burglary — Travis Dean Lewis, 39, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Sunday arrested Lewis on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and first-degree trespass. He was lodged Sunday in jail on $32,500 bail.

Burglary — Chase Weatherby Best, 32, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Sunday arrested Best on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, first-degree trespass and first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged Sunday in jail and released Monday.
