Suspected drug dealer sought after chase
Medford police are looking for a Coos County man wanted on drug charges after he allegedly eluded police near the Medford airport Monday evening.
Ronald Ryan Brown, 25, was driving a rental car Monday through Medford and Central Point when he evaded police, according to a news release issued Tuesday by Medford police.
Brown allegedly ditched the rental car on Nebula Way near the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport, and jumped fences near airport property.
Medford police said that Brown is wanted on several warrants throughout the state. Coos County Circuit Court records show that Brown has an open case from earlier this year charging him with delivering and possessing heroin, delivering and possessing methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended or revoked.
Court records show that Brown’s most recent conviction in Jackson County Circuit Court was in 2017 for fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence surrounding an attack on his mother.
Police describe Brown as 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call Medford police at 541-774-2250 and reference Medford Case No. 19-15943.
Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon will pay a reward depending on the information received, according to police.
