Felony arrests

Assault — Steven Leslie Myrick, 30, of the 300 block of North Oakdale Avenue. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Myrick on a felony assault count and a count of harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County jail on $25,000 bail.

Assault — Jianlu Zhu, 30, of the 7900 block of Timberline Road, White City. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Zhu on felony counts of assault, coercion and unlawful use of a weapon, as well as counts of harassment and menacing. He was lodged in the jail on $125,000 bail.

Burglary — James Scott Carlin, 52, no known address. Ashland police arrested Carlin on felony counts of burglary and identity theft. He was lodged in the jail on $27,500 bail.

Forgery — Glenn Raymond Rock, 56, of the 2700 block of Orchard Home Drive, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Rock on felony counts of forgery and identity theft, as well as a count of heroin possession and parole violations on older felony charges. He was lodged in the jail on $50,000 bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 2800 block of Springbrook Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a burglary Saturday at 9 a.m. Two chainsaws and a pair of earrings were stolen for a total loss of $3,100.

Theft — 2100 block of North Keene Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Saturday at 6:30 a.m. A small metal lockbox was stolen and a front passenger window vandalized for a total loss of $405.

Theft — 3000 block of Sheraton Court, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Saturday at 7:02 a.m. A purse and wallet were stolen and a driver’s side window broken for a total loss of $115.

Theft — 3100 block of Juniper Ridge Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle Saturday at 6:44 a.m. The loss was valued at $700.

Vandalism — 300 block of McAndrews Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vandalism Friday at 11:40 p.m. A sign was vandalized for a total loss of $600.
