Man injured in motorcycle crash near Talent

TALENT — A man who crashed his motorcycle on an Interstate 5 off-ramp Monday night was hospitalized, according to Oregon State Police.

Matthew Charles-Fabrique Wild, 37, was driving a white Ducati motorcycle and negotiating a turn on the exit 21 off-ramp when it went off the pavement and hit a hazard sign, according to an OSP report. Wild was ejected from the motorcycle.

Jackson County Fire District No. 5 and OSP responded to the scene. Wild was transported to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center He was listed Tuesday in fair condition, hospital spokeswoman Lauren Van Sickle said. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.

Wild received a warning for careless driving, OSP said.
