Felony arrests

Forgery — Tyler Benjamin Vega, 27, of the 500 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Vega Saturday on a felony charge of possessing a forged instrument and failing to appear in court on a previous charge of first-degree trespassing. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Saturday on $10,500 bail.

Drugs — Varina Lynetter Dahm, 57, of the 600 block of South Fourth Street, Central Point. Oregon State Police arrest Dahm Sunday on felony counts of delivering and manufacturing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, and additional counts of methamphetamine possession. She was booked into the jail and released.

Weapons — Derek Richard Pettigrew, 37, of the 4600 block of Marion Court, Medford. Central Point police arrested Pettigrew Sunday on felony counts of possessing firearms as a felon, and misdemeanor counts of possessing weapons as a felon, driving under the influence of intoxicants and carrying a concealed weapon. He was lodged in the jail on $30,000 bail.

Crime report

Theft — 4200 block of Evening Ridge Terrace, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 8:49 a.m. Friday. A computer ship and a radar detector were stolen for a total loss of $1,150.

Theft — 700 block of Stevens Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft at 9:07 a.m. Friday. a portable charcoal grill and a cat carrier were stolen for a total loss of $200.

Theft — 4300 block of Navarro Springs Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 1:14 p.m. Friday. Prescription Oakley sunglasses, a magnetic phone charger and the garage door opener to the resident’s house were stolen for a total loss of $555.

Theft — 2700 block of American Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft at 8:25 p.m. Friday. A gray and blue specialized pitch 27.5 mountain bike was stolen for a total loss of $515.

Theft — 5600 block of Crater Lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft at 9:30 p.m. Friday. A set of four 42-inch trail-ready tires and wheels were stolen for a total loss of $3,000.

Vandalism — 100 block of Cater lake Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a vandalism at 9:58 p.m. Friday. Scratches on the doors and hood of a car were estimated at $2,200 in damages.

Theft — 1500 block of Roberts Road, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft at 4:10 p.m. Saturday. A light brown rocking chair with a blue pillow and a gray rocking chair with a plaque on the back were stolen for a total loss of $60.

Theft — 2300 block of Silver Palm Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft at 8:11 a.m. Saturday. Prescription sunglasses, Bushnell binoculars and a red folding pocket knife were stolen for a total loss of $560.

Theft — 4400 block of Brownridge Terrace, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft at 7:31 p.m. Saturday. A variety of baseball bats, a black baseball helmet, baseball hats, a black basketball bag and several keys belonging to the Medford School District were stolen. The loss was valued at $575.

Theft — 3300 block of Sharman Way, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. A dashcam and a Smith and Wesson pocket knife were stolen for a total loss of $90.

Theft — 3200 block of Nettie Ettinger Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at 11:49 a.m. Sunday. A portable phone charger was stolen for a total loss of $125.
