Elude — Phillip Michael Davis, 30, of Seattle, Washington. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Davis Wednesday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, misdemeanor charges of attempt to elude police on foot, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person, and on a Washington fugitive warrant. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday without bail.
Elude — Malia Kayann Masonheimer, 27, no known address. Central Point police arrested Masonheimer Thursday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor charges of attempting to elude police on foot, reckless driving, interfering with police, hit-and-run and on warrants for violating her probation on prior methamphetamine delivery and supplying contraband convictions. She was held in jail Thursday without bail.
Assault — Christian Douglas Cochran, 24, of the 1200 block of Highway 62, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cochran Thursday on a felony charge of third-degree assault and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday because of overcrowding.
Drugs — Christopher James O’Connell, 31, of the 100 block of North First Street, Talent. Medford police arrested O’Connell Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and second-degree trespassing. He was held in jail Thursday on $17,500 bail.
Drugs — Christopher Marion Mendoza, 53, of the 11200 block of Duggan Road, Central Point. On Thursday, Mendoza made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.
Weapons — Derek Richard Pettigrew, 37, of the 4600 block of Marion Court, Medford. Central Point police arrested Pettigrew Thursday on felony charges of felon in possession of a firearm, possessing a prohibited firearm and felon in possession of body armor. He was held in jail Thursday on $25,000 bail.
Drugs — Kaiden Alexander Haight, 24, of the 300 block of Britt Avenue, Medford. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force arrested Haight on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his probation on a prior first-degree burglary conviction. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.
Sexual Abuse — David Lee Martin, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Martin Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree sexual abuse and attempted first-degree sexual abuse. He was held in jail Thursday on $257,500 bail.
