Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Juan Robert Leach, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Leach Saturday on an additional felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement task force originally arrested Leach Friday on misdemeanor charges of second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of driving while suspended and for violating his parole on a prior first-degree assault conviction. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail.

Weapon Use — James Michael Zagar, 29, of Salem. Medford police arrested Zagar Friday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon and conspiring to commit second-degree criminal mischief and on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing with a firearm. He was booked in the jail Friday and released Saturday because of overcrowding.

Child Pornography — Jared Michael Reinhardt, 29, of Mount Vernon, Illinois. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Reinhardt Friday on felony warrants charging him with first- and second-degree encouraging child sexual abuse and luring a minor. He was held in jail Friday on $25,000 bail.

Elude — Collin J. Fitzgerald, 31, of the 1300 block of Quincy Street, Ashland. Ashland police arrested Fitzgerald Friday on felony charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended or revoked, and on misdemeanor counts of reckless driving, resisting arrest and interfering with police. He was held in jail Saturday on $40,000 bail.

Drugs — Seth Anthony Parrish, 33, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Parrish Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine, a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police and for violating his parole on a prior attempted first-degree assault conviction. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Stevie Rayven Cortez, 29, no known address. Phoenix police arrested Cortez Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a prior meth possession conviction. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Timothy Scott McElroy, 31, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested McElroy Saturday on a felony charge of possessing heroin. He was held in jail Saturday on $10,000 bail.
