Felony arrests

Assault — Christopher Ellis Foster, 31, of the 1800 block of Northwood Drive, Central Point. Medford police arrested Foster Wednesday on an additional felony charge of third-degree assault and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree disorderly conduct. He was originally booked in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday and released Thursday because of reduced capacity at the jail due to COVID-19 precautions.

Destructive Device — Timothy James Anderson, 26, no known address. Medford police arrested Anderson Wednesday on new felony charges of manufacturing and possessing a destructive device and endangering a person protected by a Family Abuse Prevention Act restraining order, and on six new misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering another person. Medford police originally arrested Anderson Tuesday previous misdemeanor charges of violating a restraining order and failing to appear in court on a previous charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Friday on $57,500 bail.

Robbery — David Galen Hamilton, 35, no known address. Rogue River police arrested Hamilton Wednesday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and harassment, and on a sanction for violating his probation for violating a Family Abuse Protection Act restraining order. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released Friday to the Jackson County Community Justice Work Release Center.

Money Laundering — Bo Zhao Tan, 46, of Alameda, California. On Wednesday, Tan made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of laundering money. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Renee Antoinette Sanchez, 54, of the 1300 block of Stewart Avenue, Medford. On Wednesday, Sanchez made her initial court appearance on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine. She was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on her own recognizance.

Weapon Use — Jesse Edward Richards, 45, of Klamath Falls. On Wednesday, Richards made his initial court appearance on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon and coercion, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing and fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, resisting arrest and attempting to assault a police officer. He was booked in the jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Suspended Driving — Casey Nathaniel Brooks, 40, of the 600 block of South Holly Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Brooks Tuesday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.

Drugs — Anna Jordon Kellim, 26, of the 2900 block of Stellar Court, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Kellim Wednesday on a felony warrant charging her with possessing heroin, a misdemeanor warrant for possessing methamphetamine, an out-of-county warrant for violating her parole on a prior third-degree robbery conviction and on a fugitive warrant out of Texas. She was held in jail Friday without bail.

Aggravated Theft — Paige Ann Roady, 57, of the 600 block of Golden Peak Drive, Central Point. On Thursday, Roady made her initial court appearance on felony charges of aggravated first-degree theft, first-degree theft and first-degree criminal mistreatment. She was booked in the jail and released Thursday on her own recognizance.

Elude — Russell Wayne Sewell Jr., 32, of the 400 block of Plum Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Sewell Thursday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, on warrants for violating his probation on coercion and strangulation constituting domestic violence convictions, and for violating his parole on a prior second-degree assault conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail.
