Felony arrests

Luring a Minor — Makay Warren Bingham, 26, of the 1100 block of Northeast Cottage Street, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Binham on Monday on felony charges of luring a minor and first-degree online sexual corruption of a child. He remained held in the Jackson County Jail on Saturday on $50,000 bail.

Drugs — Joshua Jacob Collins, 30, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Collins on Tuesday on an additional felony warrant charging him with possessing methamphetamine. Medford police originally arrested Collins Monday on a charge of possessing methamphetamine and for violating his parole on a prior unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was additionally charged Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court with felon in possession of a firearm and a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended or revoked. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Burglary — Eric Michael Conlogue, 31, of the 400 block of Ayers Road, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Conlogue on Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree burglary and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree theft and third-degree criminal mischief. He was additionally charged Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on two added felony counts of first-degree theft. He was held in jail Saturday on $25,000 bail.

Assault — Jeffrey Alexander Ellis, 48, of the 1200 block of Pheasant Way, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Ellis on Wednesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released as of Saturday.

Vehicle Theft — Jorge Elisandro Lopez, 25, of the 1500 block of Meadows Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Lopez on Wednesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on warrants for violating his probation on prior methamphetamine and heroin possession convictions. He was held in jail Saturday on $10,000 bail.

Burglary — Kyle Delaney Mahan, 28, of the 3800 block of Ezell Avenue, Klamath Falls. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Mahan on Wednesday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft, and a misdemeanor charge of first-degree trespassing. He was later charged in Jackson County Circuit Court with additional charges of second-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He was held in jail Saturday on $50,000 bail.

Theft — Christopher Larry McPherson, 41, of Salem. Central Point police arrested McPherson on Wednesday on a felony charge of theft by receiving and misdemeanor charges of unlawfully entering a motor vehicle and second-degree theft. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released as of Saturday.

Elude — Charles Eric Simi, 43, of the 1800 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Central Point police arrested Simi on Wednesday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, and on misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released as of Saturday.

Theft — David Jonathan Smith, 37, of the 400 block of South Fir Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Smith on Wednesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft and a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked in the jail Wednesday and released as of Saturday.

Weapon Use — Lisa Ann Thompson, 54, of the 400 block of North Royal Avenue, Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Thompson on Wednesday on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing and reckless endangering. Sheriff’s deputies additionally arrested Thompson on Thursday on charges of attempted first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, first-degree theft and misdemeanor charges of menacing constituting domestic violence, recklessly endangering another person and pointing a firearm at another person. She was held in jail Saturday on $250,000 bail.

Burglary — Katrina L. Diehl, 35, of the 11400 block of Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Diehl on Thursday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. She was held in jail Saturday on $35,000 bail.

Vehicle theft — Mahdi Kohl Eider, 21, of the 900 block of Kenyon Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Eider on Thursday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor warrant charging her with unlawfully possessing methamphetamine and failing to appear in court on a previous second-degree theft charge. She was booked in the jail Thursday and released as of Saturday.

Vehicle Theft — Dillan James Fuerstenberg, 27, no known address. Medford police arrested Fuerstenberg on Thursday on felony charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft, and for violating his parole on a prior vehicle theft conviction. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — David Allen Hanscom, 50, of the 1200 block of Dixie Lane, Medford. Medford police arrested Hanscom on Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine. He was held in jail Saturday on $25,000 bail.

Elude — Ivan Chalres Lockwood, 74,of the 100 block of North Front Street, Talent. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Lockwood on Thursday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and on misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and interfering with a police officer. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released as of Saturday.

Drugs — Andrew Scott Surgeon, 35, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Surgeon on Thursday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a misdemeanor charge of violating a restraining order. He was booked in the jail Thursday and released as of Saturday.

Burglary — Reed Montgomery Tardif, 25, of the 1700 block of Whitman Avenue, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Tardif on Thursday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft, and for violating his probation on a prior heroin possession conviction. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Drugs — Tristan Charles Wood, 31, no known address. Medford police arrested Wood on Thursday on a felony charge of possessing heroin and on a warrant for violating his parole on a prior third-degree robbery conviction. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Arson — Michael Jarrod Bakkela, 41, of the 4900 block of Oak Park, Salem. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Bakkela Friday on two felony counts of first-degree arson, 15 felony counts of first-degree criminal mischief and 14 charges of recklessly endangering another person. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies originally arrested Bakkela Tuesday for violating his probation on a prior meth possession conviction. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Saturday without bail.

Burglary — Ricky Lee Davis, 39, of the 300 block of Eighth Street, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Davis Friday on felony charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and felon in possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully possessing a concealed weapon and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior first-degree theft conviction. He was held in jail Saturday without bail.

Burglary — Christopher Eugene Stegeman, 32, of the 400 block of Laurel Street, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Stegeman Friday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. He was held in jail Saturday on $27,500 bail.

Rape — Larry Edward Clarke, 27, of the 1900 block of Canyon Avenue, Medford police arrested Clarke Friday on felony charges of first-degree rape, strangulation constituting domestic violence and coercion, and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and fourth-degree assault. He was held in jail Saturday on $277,500 bail.

Forgery — Aram Seamus Crow Hampson, 47, of the 900 block of South Valley View Drive, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hampson Saturday on felony warrants charging him with first-degree forgery, first-degree theft, theft by receiving, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was held in jail Saturday on $20,000 bail.

Drugs — John Timothy Thomas O’Connor, 24, of the 2200 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested O’Connor Saturday on a felony charge of possessing methamphetamine and on misdemeanor charges of felon in possession of a restricted weapon. He was held in jail Saturday on $22,500 bail.

Drugs — Andrew Joseph Whitehead, 27, of the 500 block of Countryside Drive, Central Point. Medford police arrested Whitehead on felony charges of possessing heroin, possessing methamphetamine and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Saturday on his own recognizance.
