Felony arrests

Burglary — Cameryn Mykal Geiger, 29, of the 700 block of Southwest L Street, Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Geiger Saturday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft and for violating his probation on prior first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle convictions. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday without bail.

Burglary — Manuel Jarome Parks, 43, of the 300 block of West Clark Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Parks Saturday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. The Jackson County District Attorney’s office later charged Parks Monday with a felony charge of possessing more than two grams of methamphetamine and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office additionally arrested Parks Monday on warrants for violating his probation on prior meth possession and vehicle theft convictions. He was held in jail Tuesday on $122,500 bail.

Burglary — Padyn Daniel Dineen, 30, of the 1100 block of Comet Avenue, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Dineen Sunday on felony charges of second-degree burglary and aggravated first-degree theft. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Sunday and released as of Tuesday.

Burglary — Jason Paul Gibbs, 34, of the 2100 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Gibbs Sunday on felony charges of first-degree burglary and first-degree theft. The Jackson County District Attorney’s office additionally charged Gibbs Monday with an additional misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was held in jail Tuesday on $110,000 bail.

Forgery — David Lee Nelson, 29, no known address. Medford police arrested Nelson Sunday on felony charges of first-degree forgery and possessing a stolen vehicle. He was booked in the jail Sunday and released as of Tuesday.

Rape — Christian Alexander Sanchez, 28, of the 200 block of Mowetza Drive, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sanchez Sunday on felony charges of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, first-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and on a sanction for violating his probation on a prior second-degree sexual abuse conviction. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.

Vehicle Theft — Matthew Joseph James Stephens, 23, no known address. Medford police arrested Stephens Sunday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the jail and released Sunday on his own recognizance.

Assault — Deztiney Marie Ayala, 18, of the 200 block of Stillpond Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ayala Monday on a felony charge of second-degree assault. She was held in jail Tuesday on $100,000 bail

Drugs — Steven Edward Bucey, 25, of the 1200 block of Maple Park Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Bucey Monday on felony charges delivering and possessing methamphetamine, possessing heroin and felon in possession of a firearm, and on a sanction for violating her probation on a prior unlawful use of a weapon conviction. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.

Sex Offender — Jason Cory Moore, 40, no known address. Medford police arrested Moore Monday on a felony charge of failing to report as a sex offender. He was held in jail Tuesday on $7,500 bail.

Weapons — Gary Wayne Burgess, 58, of the 4000 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police arrested Burgess Tuesday on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm and a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was held in jail Tuesday on $12,500 bail.

Suspended Driving — Ronald Jim Milhoan, 55, of the 1300 block of West Stewart Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Milhoan Tuesday on a felony charge of driving while suspended or revoked. He was booked in the jail Tuesday.

Child Pornography — Stephen Michael Sgambati, 34, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sgambati Tuesday on felony charges of using a child in the display of sexually explicit conduct, first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse and second-degree sexual abuse, and on five misdemeanor counts of of violating a restraining order. He was booked in the jail Tuesday.
