Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Billy Joe Carroll, 39, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Carroll Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing a stolen vehicle. He was held in jail Thursday on $5,000 bail.

Drugs — David Michael Demello, 27, of the 6500 block of Crowfoot Road, Trail. Medford police arrested Demello Wednesday on felony charges of delivering methamphetamine, possessing heroin, possessing oxycodone, a misdemeanor charge of possessing methamphetamine and on a detainer for violating his probation on a prior drug conviction. He was additionally charged Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court with charges of first- and second-degree theft, supplying contraband, possessing methamphetamine, and unlawfully delivering and possessing a marijuana item. He was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Public Indecency — Daniel Joel Blake, 53, no known address. Medford police arrested Blake Thursday on a felony charge of public indecency. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $7,500 bail.

Theft — Ian Thomas Delong, 22, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Phoenix. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Delong Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree theft, a misdemeanor charge of first-degree trespassing and a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of improper use of 911. He was held in jail Thursday on $17,500 bail.

Drugs — Devannah Christine Prentice, 28, of the 6700 block of Cork Drive, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Prentice Thursday on a felony charge of delivering and possessing heroin, possessing methamphetamine, misdemeanor counts of unlawfully possessing meth and on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous third-degree theft charge. She was held in jail Thursday on $50,500 bail.

Drugs — Ashley Nicole Silva, 25, of the 100 block of Christa Lane, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Silva Thursday on felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin and on a detainer for violating her parole on a prior heroin-possession conviction. She was held in jail Thursday without bail.

Drugs — Martin Walker Veach, 38, of the 6700 block of Cork Drive, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Veach Thursday on felony charges of delivering and possessing heroin. He was held in jail Thursday on $30,000 bail.

Drugs — Luis Raymond Villa, 39, of the 6900 block of Pico Drive, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Villa Thursday on a felony charge of delivering and possessing heroin and delivering methamphetamine, and on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended. He was booked in the jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.

Sexual Abuse — Steven Matthew Walker, 76, of the 2000 block of Alamar Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Walker Thursday on 10 felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse and a felony charge of attempted second degree sexual penetration. He was held in jail Thursday on more than $2.5 million bail.
