Victims identified in fatal Josephine County shooting
Police have identified a man who was killed in a shooting at a marijuana grow outside Grants Pass Monday as Curtis Carr, 34, of Grants Pass.
A woman who was wounded in the attack was identified as Crystal Hall, 36, of Grants Pass. The shooting was reported at 1:05 a.m. Monday in the 4500 block of Redwood Avenue, according to a press release from Oregon State Police and Josephine County Sheriff’s Office.
When police arrived on scene, they found Hall with gunshot wounds and called for an ambulance. Police then found Carr bleeding from at least one gunshot wound. He was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital, but was later pronounced dead. Hall was no longer in the hospital Wednesday.
OSP is leading the investigation with help from the Josephine County Major Crimes team.
