Drugs — Charlie Hamilton Charlton Jr., 55, of the 3000 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Ashland police arrested Charlton Saturday on charges of possessing methamphetamine with prior convictions, interfering with an officer, delivering methamphetamine and on warrant for sexual abuse in the second degree. He was additionally charged Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court with felony charges of possessing methamphetamine and failing to report as a sex offender, and for violating his parole on a prior second-degree sexual abuse conviction. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday without bail.
Assault — Bryce Anthony Haney, 19, of the 8800 block of Rogue River Highway, Rogue River. Rogue River police arrested Haney Monday on a felony charge of second-degree assault misdemeanor charges of strangulation and harassment. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Tuesday on more than $1 million bail.
Aggravated Harassment — Corey Alan Spurgeon, 49, of the 1700 block of Warren Way, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Spurgeon Tuesday on an additional felony charge of aggravated harassment. Medford police originally arrested Spurgeon Sept. 3 on felony charges of first-degree criminal mischief and unlawful use of a weapon, and on misdemeanor charges of menacing, recklessly endangering another person, second-degree criminal mischif, second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. He was held in jail Tuesday on $87,500 bail.
Poisoning — Jacob James Townsend, 46, of the 700 block of Beekman Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Townsend Monday on felony charges of causing another person to ingest a controlled substance, first-degree custodial interference, identity theft and tampering with a witness, and on a misdemeanor charge of tampering with evidence. He was held in jail Tuesday on $60,000 bail.
Theft — Anthony Romeo Gabriel Alvarado, 21, of the 300 block of West Second Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Alvarado Tuesday on a felony charge of first-degree theft. He was held in jail Tuesday on $7,500 bail.
Assault — Jacob Davis Bush, 31, no known address. Ashland police arrested Bush Tuesday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence and on misdemeanor charges of harassment and interfering with someone making a police report and on an out-of-county warrant. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.
Assault — Johnathan Ryan Davis, 41, of the 100 block of Christa Lane, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Davis Tuesday on a felony charge of second-degree assault and misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct and harassment. He was booked in the jail Tuesday.
Identity Theft — Joel T. Diekhoff, 38, of the 800 block of Ellendale Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Diekhoff Tuesday on additional felony charges of identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card. Medford police originally arrested Diekhoff Saturday on misdemeanor charges of unlawfully entering a motor vehicle and third-degree theft. He was held in jail Tuesday on $20,000 bail.
Robbery — Apaullo Franklin Hutchison, 41, no known address. Medford police arrested Hutchison Tuesday on a felony charge of third-degree robbery, misdemeanor charges of strangulation, interfering with a police officer and second-degree trespassing, and on a detainer for violating his parole on a prior first-degree rape conviction. He was held in jail Tuesday without bail.
Witness Tampering — Dante Lamont O’Dell, 18, no known address. Medford police arrested O’Dell Tuesday on a felony charge of tampering with a witness. He was held in jail Tuesday on $7,500 bail.
