Drugs — John Allen Riley, 27, of the 300 block of Benson Street, Medford. Phoenix police arrested Riley Wednesday on a felony charge of possessing heroin, a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of second-degree theft and for violating his probation on prior first-degree theft, first-degree burglary, heroin and methamphetamine possession convictions. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Wednesday on $10,000 bail.
Forgery — Kevin Lee Cloud, 51, of the 800 block of Olympic Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Cloud Thursday on felony charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree theft, first-degree possessing a forged instrument, identity theft and theft by receiving and possessing heroin, and on a misdemeanor charge of negotiating a bad check. He was held in the Jackson County Jail Thursday on $52,500 bail.
Impaired Driving — Richard William Myers, 59, no known address. Central Point police arrested Myers Thursday on two felony warrants charging him with driving under the influence of intoxicants and a misdemeanor warrant charging him with reckless driving. He was held in jail Thursday on $12,500 bail.
Strangulation — Javier Antonio Ruiz, 40, of the 3400 block of Antelope Road, White City. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Ruiz Thursday on a felony charge of strangulation constituting domestic violence, and misdemeanor charges of harassment and fourth-degree assault. He was held in jail Thursday on $15,000 bail.
