Felony arrests

Coercion — Brian Lawrence Hopson, 46, of Peoria, Arizona. Medford police arrested Hopson Thursday on a felony charge of coercion and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic abuse, menacing and harassment. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Murder — Joshua Robert Miller, 35, of the 7200 block of Riverbanks Road, Grants Pass. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Miller Friday on felony charges that include two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of second-degree abuse of a corpse, and one charge of attempted second-degree murder. He was held in jail Friday without bail.

Attempted Assault — Rachel Ann Wallace, 39, of the 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard. Ashland police arrested Wallace Friday on two felony counts of attempted second-degree assault, and misdemeanor charges of menacing, driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. She was held in jail Friday on $35,000 bail.
