Felony arrests

Vehicle Theft — Allan Edward Woyna, 43, of the 200 block of Haskell Street, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Woyna Tuesday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail and released Wednesday on his own recognizance.

Sexual Abuse — Maxwell Terrance Mullen, 41, of the 800 block of Bennett Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Mullen Wednesday on two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was held in jail Wednesday on $250,000 bail.

Strangulation — Brandon Lee Whitten, 35, of Roseburg. Central Point police arrested Whitten Wednesday on a new felony charge of strangulation. Central Point police originally arrested Whitten Monday on a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic abuse and on warrants for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of felon in possession of a firearm and for failing to appear on a bench warrant. He was held in jail Wednesday without bail.
