Felony arrests

Marijuana — Tim Hugh Thorton, 54, of the 14000 block of Agate Road, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Thorton Thursday on felony warrants charging him with unlawfully manufacturing a marijuana item and unlawfully possessing a marijuana item. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Thursday and released Friday after posting bail.

Rape — Alfredo Lee Chavez, 21, of the 1100 block of Stevens Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Chavez Friday on felony charges including three counts of second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree sodomy, four counts of second-degree sexual abuse and misdemeanor charges including four counts of contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor and a count of harassment. He was held in jail Friday on more than $1.3 million bail.

Drugs — Dale Edward Clark, 51, of the 100 block of North River Road, Medford. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Clark on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine and possessing heroin. He was booked in the jail and released Friday on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Mitzy Marie Conley, 35, of the fist block of Dunlop Road, Ruch. Medford police arrested Conley Friday on felony charges of delivering and possessing methamphetamine, manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, manufacturing, delivering and possessing cocaine and unlawfully manufacturing, delivering and possessing a marijuana item. She was booked in jail Friday.

Drugs — Anthony Ross Minneci, 32, of the 1800 block of Willow Glen Way, Medford. Medford police arrested Minneci Friday on felony charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing cocaine, manufacturing, delivering and possessing heroin, manufacturing, delivering and possessing methamphetamine, unlawfully manufacturing, delivering and possessing a marijuana item, felon in possession of a firearm and unlawfully possessing a firearm silencer, and on a detainer for violating his parole on a prior heroin delivery conviction. He was held in jail Friday without bail.

Elude — Terri Lenore Mitchell, 63, of Crescent City, California. Talent police arrested Mitchell Friday on a felony charge of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and misdemeanor charges of unlawfully possessing methamphetamine, reckless driving and failing to carry or present a drivers license to a police officer. She was held in jail Friday on $20,000 bail.

Vehicle Theft — James Adelbert Russell, 37, no known address. Medford police arrested Russell Friday on a new felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was additionally charged Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court on a felony charge of felon in possession of a firearm and new misdemeanor charges of driving while suspended or revoked. Medford police originally arrested Russell Thursday on misdemeanor charges of driving while suspended or revoked and unlawfully possessing heroin, for violating his probation on a prior unauthorized use of a motor vehicle conviction and on a Josephine County warrant. He was held in jail Friday without bail.

Sexual Abuse — Miguel Angel Witzil, 54, of the 600 block of Northwood Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Witzil Friday on two felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was held in jail Friday on $500,000 bail.
