Felony arrests

Murder — Jackson David Frischman, 18, no address reported. Medford police arrested Frischman Monday on one charge of murder in the second degree. According to a news release, officers responded to the Best Western Horizon Inn for a report of assault Sunday around 8 p.m. and found a deceased 28-year-old male in a room, identified by police as Jeffrey Blackwood. Frischman was at the scene and identified as a suspect before being booked into jail and held without bail.

Drugs — Keosha Melissa Ann Butler, 36, of the 500 block of Shasta Avenue, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Butler Monday on charges of possessing methamphetamine and heroin, violating parole and on warrant for failing to appear in court regarding a disorderly conduct charge. She was booked into jail and held on $20,500 bail.

Assault — Gustavo Rivera-Ramirez, 48, of the 300 block of Second Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Rivera-Ramirez Sunday on charges of harassment with sexual contact and fourth-degree felony assault. He was booked into jail and held on $12,500 bail.
